GCV Labs is a trading name of Growth Capital Ventures Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), which is authorised and regulated in the United Kingdom by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), FRN 623142. We collect personal data when you:

• Contact us — your name, organisation, email address and the contents of your enquiry.
• Work with us — information needed to assess and progress a venture-building, co-founding or corporate relationship, including professional background and business information you share with us.
• Browse this site — technical and usage information such as pages visited, approximate device and browser data, and how you arrived at the site, collected through analytics (see our cookie notice).

We use personal data to:

• Respond to enquiries and manage conversations with founders, corporates and partners.
• Assess opportunities and manage venture-building relationships.
• Operate, secure and improve this website.
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including those arising from FCA regulation.

We rely on legitimate interests (responding to you and running our business), contractual necessity (where we are working together) and legal obligation (for regulatory record-keeping) as our lawful bases under UK GDPR.

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who support our operations (for example hosting, analytics and IT providers) under appropriate contracts, with professional advisers, and with regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it.

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including any legal or regulatory retention requirements that apply to us as an FCA-authorised firm, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
